It's been awhile since my last #fridayintroduction, and because Ryan just snagged this photo of me on Wednesday, it seems like the perfect time to say "Hello."

Pumpkin spotlight: today I want to tell you about the Galeux d'Eysines squash. Yes, it's the pinkish one with the bumps! Also known as Warted Sugar Marrow, Courge Brodee Galeuse, and Peanut Pumpkin. Pronounced, as far as I can convey to the non-French speaking (myself included): galu dezin.

Next week we open pre-order sales for our signature Twig End Farm pumpkin centerpieces; September 20. Mark your calendars! Last year these babies were a huge hit (see stories for examples). This season, centerpieces feature breathtakingly beautiful heirloom pumpkins, grown by my friends Katelyn at @peachykeeneflowerfarm and Jordan at @eufloria.design.co.

Flowers bring joy.

A photo that requires no caption except to say that my dear sweet friend has a beautiful daughter (two, in fact), as you see. And I consider it a delight and an honor to create flower crowns for her girls from the bounty of our gardens here at Twig End Farm. 🧡

Now is the time to gather seeds. It's nearly mid-September; the roadside ditches and bracken turn gold before the trees. Have you noticed?
